APPARATUS
APPARATUS is a New York based design studio that explores the relationship of lighting, furniture and objects in immersive environments, threading the historical and the cultural through a modern lens.
Creative Director Gabriel Hendifar approaches the studio’s work as narrative, drawing on the vocabulary of desire and emotional response. Inspired by the modernist principle of a total work of art, the studio is an ever-evolving articulation of considered spaces and the things that live within them.
OZONE
Specialised in the design and fabrication of high-end lighting, ozone responds to the varied demands of architects and of private clients via their collection of lamps and of suspensions, as well as via the development of custom-made pieces. Their minimal vocabulary, constructed from tension and rigour, is the geometric expression of a dialogue between space and light. Their lamps, designed and made by hand in Paris, are assembled in their studio in the rue Vertbois. They are the association of traditional know-how and of cutting-edge technology, in keeping with a renewed French craftsmanship tradition. Set up by Eric Jaehnke and Etienne Gounot, Ozone now counts 6 collaborators.
NAAMA HOFMAN
Studio Naama Hofman designs and crafts objects of light, offering a new meaning to the word ‘lamp:’ ambient objects which diffuse a soft and even light across the spaces they occupy. Derived from a deep belief of the importance of quality, long-lasting artifacts, Hofman’s studio is suspended between the contradicting yet complimenting realms of art and design, employing skilled craftsmen and artisans for its delicate manufacturing process. Based in Tel Aviv, the studio is occupied with the serial production of light object collections, in addition to special edition pieces and site-specific, tailor-made art installation.
ALLIED MAKER
Allied Maker is a New York based design and manufacturing studio run by Ryden & Lanette Rizzo.
Their mission is to deliver artisan crafted, highly engineered, sophisticated yet simple lighting design solutions. Allied Maker studio’s inspiration is fueled by an obsession with natural materials such as Brass, Glass, and Hardwoods along with a love for artisan craftsmanship. In 2018, Allied Maker inaugurated a 2,000 square-foot ground floor space showroom in the heart of Tribeca, in the midst of one of New York’s most vibrant residential neighborhoods, designed in collaboration with architect Marshall Shuster.
PAUL MATTER
Paul matter is a lighting design studio founded by Nikhil Paul in 2016. Studio’s work explores the timelessness in design and culture through its collection of lights and objects. The designs are most notable for their sculptural form, inherent function and materials that refine with age. Each product is handcrafted by master craftsmen, finished and assembled by hand with great attention to detail. Studio’s work has been showcased at Salone Del Mobile, Tokyo design week, masterpiece London, Nomad Monaco and AD Design show. It has been featured in important design and lifestyle publications such as Architectural Digest, Wallpaper, World of Interiors, Vogue, Elle Decor.
ROLL & HILL
Roll & Hill collaborates with some of the most exciting independent designers working today to create a collection of beautiful and unique lighting fixtures. Roll & Hill was founded in 2010 by Jason Miller, whose experience as a designer and producer inspired him to create a company that might harness the talents of independent designers, while offering the benefits more often associated with boutique studios.
Roll & Hill is committed to on-demand production, which allows for each piece to be customized to a client’s needs. At Roll & Hill’s headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, parts are assembled by hand, one lamp at a time.
Roll & Hill’s pieces draw from a rich material palette that includes brass, bronze, leather, wood, hand-knotted rope and mouth-blown glass. Roll & Hill’s designers often pair historical elements with contemporary forms to create lights that feel familiar, yet totally new.
STUDIO HENRY WILSON
Henry Wilson is a designer based in sydney, australia. he studied at the australian national university school of art in canberra, graduating with first class honours in visual arts, specialising in woodwork. During his time at anu he went on exchange to rhode island school of design. He then moved to europe to do his masters at the design academy eindhoven before returning to sydney to set up his own studio in 2012.
Henry’s work combines a rational, democratic utility with an element of sculptural expression.

Design studio Articolo has explored ‘the art of light’ through handcrafted artisanal lighting pieces since 2012.
Founded by celebrated designer Nicci Green, Articolo’s lighting collections explore the unique individuality and subtle differences intrinsic to mouth blown glass coupled with a timeless design aesthetic. When lit, these sophisticated forms cast unique patterns and movements that reflect an unparalleled shadow play of light unique to Articolo. With a view to going beyond simply decorative lighting, Articolo aims to creating pieces that function as true sculpture.
Based in Melbourne and New York, Articolo is a truly international designer lighting company, interpreting European design influences through a modern sensibility, honestly and playfully uniting craftsmanship and materiality.

Guillaume Garnier and Florent Linker are two French creators based in Paris. Their work is about giving a contemporary design to rare materials and savoir-faire. All pieces are handmade in small series by French master craftsmen. As designers, they get their inspiration from decorative arts and sculpture, to create pure-shaped forms revealing their materiality. With their background in interior design, they offer objects that meet all demands of modern interiors, with bespoke options according to architects and decorators needs.
GABRIEL SCOTT
With backgrounds in architecture, industrial design and jewelry-making, Gabriel Kakon and Scott Richler bring a multidisciplinary set of skill and style to the furniture & lighting world as GABRIEL SCOTT.
Since their first collaboration in early 2004, the Canadian brothers-in law have designed and manufactured exclusive pieces for the trade market throughout North America. In 2012, they launched GABRIEL SCOTT, a chic and contemporary line of furniture and lighting fixtures. Accessible to the retail and commercial market, the growing line continues to remain true to the designers’ unique signature style and quality.
BERT FRANK
Bert Frank is an award-winning British luxury lighting brand founded in 2013 by designer, Robbie Llewellyn and factory owner, Adam Yeats. Drawing influence from the design codes of the industrial era but with a modern twist, the company has quickly established a presence on the international design scene, garnering accolades such as the 2016 Elle Decoration British Design Award for Lighting and the Best Product Award at the design et al International Design Awards. From Robbie’s debut design, the Shear Pendant Lamp, the collection has expanded to include striking new ranges such as the sleek Tanto light and the elegant Spate collection.

Yves and Paul Macheret created Entrelacs, a brand of light fixtures, backed by the Macheret Foundry. The company has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label. Entrelacs designs, manufactures and publishes lighting fixtures based on the mastery of bronze. The raw materiality of the creations and the pure lines contribute to the timelessness of pieces. Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Founded in 2005 under the creative directorship of Omer Arbel, Bocci is committed to fostering a lateral and open-ended relationship between creative direction and craft.
The company launched with one lighting design, ‘14’, which became an instant classic and remains a design staple and bestseller. Bocci’s growing portfolio of sculptural lighting is developed, engineered and fabricated in-house, through an infrastructure calibrated to provide full control over technique, quality and scale.
In 2015, Bocci transformed a historic Berlin building into a showroom and archive. ‘Bocci 79’ inhabits a 2,200 m2 / 23,600 sq.ft former courthouse, constructed in 1896, showcasing over a decade of works by Omer Arbel, ranging from pieces in progress, prototypes and ideas, to the complete range of catalogue pieces developed for Bocci.
ORBIT
Since over 20 years, ORBIT® develops and produces state-of-the-art architectural lighting systems for the medium to high end project lighting market (hotel, office, leisure, retail and living spaces) and commercializes its lighting fixtures through an international dealer network of creative lighting specialists. ORBIT’s headquarters and production site are located near Antwerp (Belgium, Europe).

very story needs a starting point. Ours began in the early 80’s, when a handful of young Belgians decided to start a lighting company. So far, so good. But what name should they give to this new company? This is an issue in Belgium, since it has several official languages, including Flemish and French. The founders of the company didn’t want to choose one or the other, so there was only one option left: The name had to fit phonetically into both worlds. During their lively discussions on the topic, the young entrepreneurs then chanced upon a document that would play a decisive role in the company’s history: a roadmap, as it were, that explained in five points how to be successful in life – through hard work (WErklust), trust (VERtrouwen), and enthusiasm (ENthousiasme ), combined with courage (DUrf) and the necessary dose of creativity (CREativiteit). This is our foundation and it has been our company philosophy, from then until now.
